Oι Αθηναίοι Sunlight δεν πέρασαν απαρατήρητοι στους ακροατές μελωδικών ακουσμάτων το 2015 όταν κυκλοφόρησαν το ντεμπούτο τους "My Own Truth". Το συγκρότημα, που κινείται σε όλο το φάσμα του μελωδικού ήχου - από μελωδικό hard&heavy έως μελωδικό power metal, ενώ ετοιμάζει το δεύτερο άλμπουμ του, "ανέβασε" ένα βίντεο με τη διασκευή στο θρυλικό "Child in Time" των Deep Purple.
To 2018 oι Αυστραλοί On My Command, η οne-man band του Sean Mackay, έκαναν το ντεμπούτο τους με το "Apparitions", παίζοντας ένα ανά στιγμές ενδιαφέρον και συμπαθητικό μείγμα power metal και μελωδικού thrash, με πολύ καλή κιθαριστική δουλειά.
