Burning Black - Prisoners Of Steel
This quintet comes from Italy and to be more specific, Treviso. The album “Prisoners Of Steel”is their first effort of Burning Black in which the guys perform very well , some good old heavy metal influenced by the masters of the genre. The vocals stand very good, with many high pitched parts. The structure of the tracks is in the classic shape of the genre, with sharp edged riffs and in specific parts we can also hear some arpeggios. Through the album we can also hear some tracks that sound close to the first Alex Rudi Pell’s efforts and mostly due too the guitar work. All of the tracks have a very good groovy feeling with a very strong rhythm section and many good melodic lines.
\r\nThe “Prisoners OF Steel” album is an album which I could easily call “A summer album”. Very easy listening and in general a “classic” album. Nothing more, nothing less, just pure melodic heavy metal, straight out from other decades but with a very up to date production.
