InnerFire - Of Legends & Allegiance

\r\nBelgium nowadays seems to be a starting point for many new bands …One of them is also InnerFire that exists many years now, but the truth is that their accomplishments aren’t many up till now. Their album ‘Of Legends and Allegiance’’ is their second complete effort and personally I believe that there hasn’t been something to talk much about. Their music could be categorized into Dark Metal with many melodic Death Metal outbreaks. The boring monotonous thing about their music is that each track is full of continuous ‘’riffs’’ that are very similar to each other and generally don’t have something else worthing, with few exceptions where we can hear some lead points or some melodic points created by keyboards. The tracks are basically mid tempo but there are some fast outbreaks that reveal that the band had some inspirations, but hasn’t yet found their way to put their ideas into paper without being boring. Their vocals are a bit more brutal than Crematory and I believe that they should go on with those, since they are the same from the start till the end of the record or at least with some addition of some middle vocals too. The truth is that something like that would suit InnerFire. The only thing that I liked particularly is the good production which has the required volume and all the rest of the record sounds crystal clear. Unfortunately we can’t assume anything from that… InnerFire believe that if they work on it a bit more they will bring out something good. At the present moment, they only appear to be a piece of the pile.\r\n
