Celebrating over 25 years of metal mastery, chart-topping icons Evergrey have unveiled their eagerly longed for, thirteenth full-length, A Heartless Portrait (The Orphean Testament), today. To commemorate this massive next milestone in the band's history, Gothenburg’s dark metal masters have just released their emotive, mystical new single, “Call Out the Dark” - a heartfelt sonic experience that wanders the realms of prog and melodic metal to combine the best of both worlds into one.
Queensrÿche will release their 16th album, Digital Noise Alliance, on October 7 via Century Media Records. Returning as producer is Chris "Zeuss" Harris, who previously worked with the band on 2015's Condition Hüman and 2019's The Verdict.
The band shared the news of the upcoming release with the teaser below, simply stating: "Digital Noise Alliance - October 7, 2022."

Guitarist Toby Knapp has issued the following update on the forthcoming Onward album, Of Epoch And Inferno, the first official studio album of new music since Reawaken, released in 2002
Knapp: "The album is currently being mastered at Audio Art Studio in Las Vegas, NV by world renowned engineer, Brett Hansen. I'm starting to get excited about it, it was a long process with some unexpected hurdles, but we made it through and the album is really strong.
German metal force Scanner has signed with ROAR! Rock of Angels Records.
Scanner evolved from the band Lions Breed (album Damn The Night, Earthshaker Label/Mausoleum Records) in 1986. Their line up at that time consisted of Michael Knoblich (vocals), Tom S. Sopha (guitar), Axel A.J. Julius (guitar), Martin Bork (bass) and Wolfgang Kolorz (drums).
