Hailing from the North West of England, Xentrix was formed in 1985 by guitar player Chris Astley. After numerous changes to the line up Xentrix signed to Roadrunner Records and entered the studio to record their first album Shattered Existence with producer John Cuniberti (Vio-lence, Forbidden, Joe Satriani).
Xentrix were one of the leading lights of the British thrash metal movement.

Slayer guitarist, Kerry King, has told Metal Hammer that he “won’t be dragging my feet much longer” when it comes to his new project.
King revealed in 2021 that he has more than two records' worth of music written for the as-yet-unnamed band. Speaking to Metal Hammer, he says that fans of his old band won’t be disappointed when it comes to the new music.

Bay area thrash metal giants Testament unleashed their thirteenth studio album, Titans Of Creation, via Nuclear Blast in 2020.
Today, Testament has announced they will release a Titans Of Creation Video Album on September 9 via Nuclear Blast Records. The limited-edition collectible features performance videos of all the tracks on the record.
