Arizona-born thrash metallers, Flotsam And Jetsam, have been forced to cancel their upcoming European tour dates. A message from the band follows...
"It is with great disappointment that we need to cancel our June European shows. We hope our fans will understand and support us in this. Unfortunately, the costs associated with touring have doubled, and in some cases tripled.
Metallica performed the 72 Seasons track, "Screaming Suicide", during their concert at Johan Cruijff Arena in Amsterdam, Netherlands, on April 27.
Presented worldwide by Liquid Death and Blackened American Whiskey (in North America only) and promoted by Live Nation, Metallica’s M72 world tour sees the band in a complete 360 performance playing two nights in every city it visits
Annihilator founder / guitarist Jeff Waters has checked in with the following message:
"Well, it's now official: the most listened to song by Annihilator on the world wide web is 'King Of The Kill' (guess who sang it?! hahaha!). Just goes to show, hard work, commitment, good tunes can create something pretty damn good. It was also a #2 record in Japan, a huge record in most of Europe, and was the fourth big-seller in a row for Annihilator."

The legendary New York thrashers Anthrax have canceled all of its previously announced European festival (and other) appearances for this summer due to logistical and scheduling issues.
This is the second time that the band canceled European shows in less than a year.
In a new interview with El Lado Oscuro TV, Testament frontman, Chuck Billy, reveals the band are working on material for their new album and follow-up to 2020's Titans Of Creation.
Says Chuck: "We're working on a new record now, so it's time to put that one behind us and make another one."

Metallica’s 12th studio album, 72 Seasons, is out on April 14 via the band’s own Blackened Recordings. Produced by Greg Fidelman with James Hetfield & Lars Ulrich and clocking in at over 77 minutes, the 12-track album is the band’s first full-length collection of new material since 2016’s Hardwired…To Self-Destruct.
Today, Metallica release the album's title track as a single.
