ARTE Concert has posted professionally-filmed footage of Dark Tranquillity's August 14th performance at Alcatraz Metal Festival 2021, held in Kortrijk, Belgium.
Dark Tranquillity recently announced the departure of drummer Anders Jivarp and bassist Anders Iwers. A message from vocalist Mikael Stanne follows:

An integral part of the early-'80s thrash metal movement that spawned acts like Metallica and Anthrax, New Jersey's Overkill garnered a reputation for brutal, pounding speed and technique. Taking their moniker from the 1979 Motörhead album of the same name, an early demo; Power In Black, made waves in the underground tape-trading circuit and caught the attention of Megaforce Records, which issued the band's full-length studio debut, Feel the Fire, in 1985.
US Old School Death metallers Centenary are back with a new release. The newest album is a reflection of their old-school death metal influences. Heavy HM-2 riffs with pummeling low-end bass and punishing drums. Sick guttural vocals ranging from highs to lows.
The album has blasts, solos, and grooving headbanging rhythms.
1980's British heavy rockers EXCALIBUR have a lyric video available for the track 'Haunted By The Shadows'. The previously unheard 'Excalibur Mix' of the song is taken from the forthcoming reissue of their 1985 debut six track mini album 'The Bitter End', which is set for release on 24th September through No Remorse Records. .
The newly remastered recording will contain a selection of bonus material including the band’s 1984 ‘Back Before Dawn’

After the Rock Hard Festival 2021 had to be canceled like all major music events, the organizers are now setting up a one-day festival under corona conditions. The first 1,000 tickets went to the fans within a very short time. Due to changes in legal regulations, additional seat tickets can now be sold for the wide area around the Gelsenkirchen amphitheater. The conditions for the event are determined by the current Corona Protection Ordinance of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia (currently from August 17, 2021).
