Kreator surely need no introduction to anyone at this point. The Germans were among the distinctive bands who helped to shape and fashion the emerging thrash style in the 1980s. And through such landmark albums as Pleasure To Kill (1986), Terrible Certainty ('87) and Coma Of Souls ('90), they had stamped their own hallmark of quality, passion and aggression, in the process proving here was a special group of musicians.
Judas Priest were the Sunday headliner at Bloodstock Open Air 2021, which took place at Catton Park, Walton-on-Trent, England this past weekend. Fan-filmed video from their set is available below.

Swedish metallers SABATON have announced their new album "The War To End All Wars".
The band stated about the upcoming disc: "For almost two decades we have been singing about historical battles and wars from all over the world.
"Two years have passed since the release of our latest album 'The Great War', a concept album telling stories from World War I.
Former H.E.A.T. vocalist Erik Grönwall, who won the Swedish Idol reality television run in 2009, recorded four albums with the band between 2021 and 2020. He has been sharing an assortment of covers on YouTube and has checked in with his latest clip. CHeck it out below.

With Bloodstock Open Air 2021 well under way, the festival is already be looking ahead and announcing a swathe of bands for the 2022 event, which is set to take place on August 11-14, 2022 at Catton Park, Derbyshire, United Kingdom.
Headlining one of the days on the Ronnie James Dio main stage will be mighty groove metal overlords LAMB OF GOD.
Swedish melodic death metal pioneers DARK TRANQUILLITY have parted ways with drummer Anders Jivarp and bassist Anders Iwers.
Jivarp is an original member of DARK TRANQUILLITY, having played on all of the band's releases to date. Iwers joined DARK TRANQUILLITY in 2016 and played on the group's last two albums, 2016's "Atoma" and 2020's "Moment".
