Zee Productions has announced the September 17 release of more new Iron Maiden jigsaw puzzles via their Rock Saws imprint.
A message states: "We are adding three more 500-piece puzzles to our official Iron Maiden puzzles range, and this time it's the classic singles 'Running Free', 'Sanctuary' and 'Purgatory'!"
Metallica have released another preview for their upcoming reissue of The Black Album, "Enter Sandman" (Psycho Band Pass) from the “Music Videos” DVD included in the box set edition. It's an early rough cut of the band performance footage from the “Enter Sandman” music video.

Former Slipknot drummer Joey Jordison (real name Nathan Jonas "Joey" Jordison) has passed away at the age of 46. A statement reads as follows:
"We are heartbroken to share the news that Joey Jordison, prolific drummer, musician and artist passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 26th, 2021. He was 46. Joey's death has left us with empty hearts and feelings of indescribable sorrow.
On Saturday, July 17, Los Angeles-based band, Warrior, reunited to celebrate the life of their bass player, Rob Farr, at Cooks Corner in Trabuco Canyon, California. This was the first time Warrior has performed live since their performance at the Keep It True Festival in Germany, on April 26, 2014.
Rob Farr was very well liked and frequented the Southern California rock scene playing in a variety of bands over the years. Rob’s other bands National Dust and Radio 80's, performed also. Roy Z and Ira Black

Sadly, Metal Church vocalist Mike Howe is no longer with us. The band has issued the following statement:
"It is with our deepest regrets that we must announce the passing of our brother, our friend and true legend of heavy metal music. Mike Howe passed away this morning at his home in Eureka, California. We are devastated and at a loss for words. Please respect our privacy and the Howe family’s privacy during this most difficult time."

Some don't know that Annihilator toured twice with the mighty Judas Priest. Of course, the Painkiller Europe 1991 tour (tour of the dang century to us and many fans!) but we were, again, invited back to tour with them in 2004 on the Reunited Europe Tour, when Rob Halford rejoined. Kinda killer for an Ottawa, Canada boy to end up touring twice with his idols... and with the (arguably) best vocalist in Metal.
