In the wake of WHITESNAKE's massive global success, the band's founder and lead singer, David Coverdale, set out to record his third solo album in 1995. However, the plan was derailed when pressure from his record label forced him to change course and release "Restless Heart" under the DAVID COVERDALE & WHITESNAKE moniker. Despite the changes, the 1997 album was a Top 40 hit in the U.K.
Metal Blade Records welcomes A-Z to its worldwide roster.
A-Z (pronounced "A through Z") equals Ray Alder (Fates Warning; vocals) and Mark Zonder (ex-Fates Warning, Warlord; drums), and also means "anything is possible" - and with this lineup of musicians, that is no exaggeration.

The re-release of the 1989 SDI album "Mistreated", available since 30 April, not only contains songs of the original album with a remastered contemporary sound, but also 5 bonus tracks, two of which were completely re-recorded especially for this release.
