Oι Acerus από το Chicago κυκλοφόρησαν το 2013 το πολύ καλό ντεμπούτο τους "The Unreachable Salvation", σε κλασικό heavy metal ύφος, και ακολούθησε το 2018 το "The Clock of Mortality" που αν και είχε μερικές καλές στιγμές, δεν ήταν τόσο δυνατό όσο το πρώτο άλμπουμ. Το συγκρότημα μόλις κυκλοφόρησε το τρίτο του άλμπουμ με τίτλο "The Tertiary Rite" από την Lux Inframundis Productions.
Έχουμε ξαναπεί για τους πολύ συμπαθητικούς classic heavy metallers High Spirits από το Chicago, τη μπάντα του τραγουδιστή Chris Black που παίζει και όλα τα όργανα. Το συγκρότημα έδωσε στη δημοσιότητα τον τίτλο του νέου, τέταρτου άλμπουμ του, που θα λέγεται "Hard to Stop" και θα κυκλοφορήσει 31 Ιουλίου του 2020 από την High Roller Records.
Να που ήρθε η ώρα για το πρώτο δείγμα από τη νέα δουλειά των Γερμανών power metallers Primal Fear. Πρόκειται για το κομμάτι "Along Came The Devil" που θα βρίσκεται στο 13ο άλμπουμ του συγκροτήματος "Metal Commando" και θα κυκλοφορήσει στις 24 Ιουλίου 2020 από την Nuclear Blast Records. Για να δούμε αν θα αναζωογονήσει τον γερμανικό power metal ήχο, έστω και λίγο. Δείτε το κομμάτι παρακάτω.

Έχουμε ήδη αναφέρει ότι το νέο, τρίτο άλμπουμ των Σουηδών epic doom metallers (αν και δεν ισχύουν πια όλα τα συνθετικά αυτά δυστυχώς) Sorcerer θα έχει τίτλο "Lamenting Of The Innocent" στις 29 Μαΐου 2020 και θα κυκλοφορήσει από την Metal Blade Records. Το συγκρότημα κυκλοφόρησε πριν λίγη ώρα το νέο του single με τίτλο "Deliverance".
Στις 5 Ιουνίου θα κυκλοφορήσει μέσω της Relapse records split E.P. από τους Exhumed και Gruesome.
To E.P. έχει τίτλο "Twisted horror" και θα κυκλοφορήσει σε ψηφιακή μορφή CD αλλά και βινυλίου .

Οι Βρετανοί Thrashers Onslaught θα κυκλοφορήσουν το νέο τους album στις 7 Αυγούστου μέσω της AFM Records.
Ο τίτλος είναι "Generation Antichrist" και έρχεται στη συνέχει του πολύ κάλου "VI".
