\r\n
\r\n-The Third Antichrist- is the third album that Swedish Deathsters, -Necrophobic- are re-releasing through Hammerheart Records. A must buy album for all the fans that hasn’t buy this album yet. \r\n
\r\nThere are some bands playing Goth metal outhere but unfortunately the term "goth" has
\r\nnot its original meaning anymore, resulting in the crapy records we get in times by those
\r\nbands. Goth metal is not my kind and this is a difficult review for me ’cause we have great
\r\nmusic and feeling here. Ava Inferi is a goth metal band from Portugal but they have
\r\nmembers from bands like Mayhem, Aura Noir etc...In addition to that, in the vocals they
\r\n Τhe modern metal scene has now a new child to be proud of. This fine young act releases their debut cd in the form of a self financed EP and set new standards in the greek extreme sound. Yes, I will have to label music again just so that I can deliver a more clear view of their creation. I have to! So, deathcore is the sport but not exactly the type you have in mind dear mr. \r\nMARUTA STRIKES BACK \r\n
\r\n
\r\n-Maruta- are here with their second full length so prepare yourselves for another Grindcore album that is able to chop your head off! The band is releasing the new album once again via Willowtip/Candlelight Records and this time they put even more tension and you can feel that they are pushing it to the limits. \r\n
\r\nTwo years after the great “Ape Uprising”, Mike Scalzi and his crazy company remain on the animal side of life, since their latest offering “The Animal Spirits” leaves no room for misunderstandings. Through 11 tracks Slough Feg give away once again their pure, primal heavy metal, harmonically blending their 70’s and NWOBHM influences with celtic/folk melodies, managing to sound themselves neither old nor new, like only they can do.
Ralf Scheepers has built himself quite a reputation for being one of the finest German Heavy Metal singers. With a career spanning three decades, debuting with Tyran Pace and after taking part in the first three albums of GAMMA RAY, he started Primal Fear in 1997, with Mat Sinner. Apart from these, both Helloween and Judas Priest considered him as their possible next lead singer.
Here’s another album that has nothing to do with the genre is labeled under. Nuclear Blast promotes this as a Thrash metal album but things are quite different concerning Condemned? They are a crossover band with obvious punk tendencies and if you miss the good old days when you were banging to the sound of “The Exploited” and “D.R.I.” then “Condemned 2 death” is just the right thing for you. The Americans Condemned?
Thy Symphony is a Brazilian symphonic power metal act and with their debut “Harmonizing The World” they take their first steps to the metal scene. So here we have an album filled with classic metal with an intense presence of symphonic elements along with powerful male and female vocals.
\r\nThe album “TORN” was an exceptional piece of work that put EVERGREY to a very high level. Even those who were skeptical, begun reconsidering after this release.
