\r\nHardreams is a Spanish band whose work hasn’t reached our country yet. They’re well known for their work, though, in Spain as well as for their live appearances as they’ve opened gigs for artists like Edguy, Bob Catley (Magnum), Vaughn (Tyketto), Firehouse and Jim Peterik(Survivor, Mecca, Pride of lions). After signing with Perris Records for their last album "The Road Goes On..." on 2008, Hardreams now decided to re-release an older album that was released on 2004 before making another record.\r\n

Well, another release by the Russian outfit Arkona and my opinion is the same as on my last review for their previous album. In a genre that gives birth to bands faster than neither a female bunny you ought to have something special to present to the public and no, nor their Folklore parts neither accordion nor their Kampfar – ish parts are something special. Especially if your vocals are in Russian then you must admit that you have already lost the game.

The 11th Hour is a Dutch / Swedish two piece outfit from the well - know metal musicians Ed Warby (Gorefest, Hail of Bullets, Ayreon) and Rogga Johansson (Edge of Sanity, Demiurg, Paganizer, Ribspreader) that despite their musical identity that deals with the more extreme metal scene, they decided to join forces to release a doom metal outfit.

\r\nJust take the guitar parts and the rhythm section from In Flames, add female, Evanescence-like vocals and a few screams backing up for the choruses and for some bridges, and there you are; the result will be very close to One Without’ s style.
\r\nThis is the debut album for the band, which comes from Gothenburg. According to the promo notes, they want to set new standards to today’s metal music.

\r\nNot many people know this, but Seventh Rize began their journey back in 1991 and released its first album, "Visceral Rock" in 2000. Back then, the band was heavily influenced by Skid Row, Cinderella and other well known 80’s bands. During all these years Seventh Rize, didn’t become famous in Europe but things are different in the US as Seventh Rize have performed shows, since their reunion on 2007, along with Warrant, Firehouse and White Lion not to mention many headlining events and they even performed on Rocklahoma on 2008.

\r\n"Came out of nowhere, girl you are my miracle...". This is a lyric from the song “One Love”, which is also the title of the video for the first self-titled W.E.T. album. Now, let’s see who is behind this name; Robert Säll, Erik Martensson and Jeff Scott Soto, three talented persons, join forces and there we go; we have the band called W.E.T, an acronym, which comes from the bands’ names that each one of them represents; Work of Art, Eclipse and Talisman.

\r\nApart from Motorhead there have been so little bands that managed to play asskicking, raw and dirty rock n roll. Not everyone can achieve this without ending up being repetitive, boring or even worse, a really bad copy of Motorhead. In other words, someone must have guts in order to play this way and with their debut album, "Hated For Who We Are", the italian band "Lucky Bastardz" proove that they do so.\r\n

\r\nI’m very skeptical when it comes to Nu Metal, modern metal and alternative bands. This is due to two main reasons. Firstly, many bands are so experimental that at the end they completely lose the meaning and second because most of the bands are trying to convince the audience by using, mixing and matching ideas which are coming from other bands.

\r\nGermany seems to love hard rock and heavy metal and every now and then a german band appears in our lives in order to confirm this rule and also produce quality albums. In the case of "For Crown And Ring", imagine a band combining Accept, AC/DC, Krokus and early Scorpions and the result is M.A.D. (Maniacal Area Damage). Let’s see what these fellows have to offer us...\r\n
