Legendary heavy metal titans, Accept, recently announced that their new album, Humanoid, will be released on April 26. The upcoming masterpiece was once again produced, recorded, mixed and mastered by critically acclaimed heavy metal producer, Andy Sneap.

US heavy metallers, Riot V, will release their new studio album, Mean Streets, on April 12 via Atomic Fire Records. In a new interview with Metal-Rules.com, bassist Donnie Van Stavern tells Robert Cavuoto about the importance of continuing to make music, how each song should have a killer riff, what influences his writing, and why this is the band’s most stable lineup.
Mean Streets contains 12 tracks which were recorded by Bruno Ravel in New Jersey. Ravel also mixed the album while Bart Gabriel took care of its mastering.

Firestar features a wide range of influences from hard rock to pop, all calibrated to heavy metal trademark the band is known and loved for. But sometimes pure coincidence or seemingly inconspicuous little details can turn a very good album into an outstanding release.
