Arjen Anthony Lucassen (Ayreon) is back with a new Star One album, titled Revel In Time. The new album comes more than 10 years since the previous release and is due out on February 18 via InsideOutMusic.

British rock icons, Magnum, have released a new single and lyric video for the song "I Won't Let You Down", which is taken from the band's upcoming studio album, The Monster Roars.
The Monster Roars will be released on January 14 via SPV/Steamhammer in the following configurations:
Canadian thrash legends Exciter performed at Mass Destruction IV Festival on November 7th, in Atlanta, GA at The Loft at Center Stage.

Power metallers Gaia Epicus have revealed the cover art for their final album, Illumination, due to be released in 2022. The cover painting was done by Adam Brown, the same artist who did the cover for their Seventh Rising album.

IRON FATE have now found the time to record its successor a full eleven years after their debut album. The second work is called "Crimson Messiah" and was mixed and mastered by Jost Schlueter in the PureSonic Studio.
It was produced by Schlueter and the band themselves. Once again we can look forward to heavy metal with a US-American touch with thrashy parts and hard rock elements. With a playing time of almost an hour, the album offers space for epic, melancholy and aggressiveness.
