TESLA TO RELEASE NEW SINGLE 'COLD BLUE STEEL' THIS MONTH

Veteran Northern California rockers TESLA will release a brand new single, "Cold Blue Steel", on August 27. In a new interview with Rob Rush Radio, guitarist Frank Hannon told described the track, which he co-wrote with singer Jeff Keith, as "a very real-sounding rock and roll new song. This really cool photographer that we met called what's his name again? Mark Weiss. That's right, one of my very best buddies and he shot he shot the cover for Night Songs for us and it was a shot in the historic district of Philadelphia, which is where we were from and I believe that structure we were standing in was called Head House Square. But the most interesting thing that I remember about that shoot was the album was called night songs and Mark scheduled to shoot for daytime. And I kept saying to him that's not gonna look right .

KING KOBRA RELEASES DELUXE EDITION OF SWEDEN ROCK LIVE ALBUM

King Kobra was founded by drummer Carmine Appice, the band consisted of four relatively unknown musicians: vocalist Mark Free, guitarist David Michael-Philips, guitarist Mick Sweda, and bassist Johnny Rod. After two albums on Capitol Records, Ready to Strike (1985), Thrill of a Lifetime (1986), and the independent release King Kobra III in 1988 they disbanded until returning in 2010 with Paul Shortino (Rough Cut) taking over vocal duties.
