As soon as I put the Cd on the tray I have to admit that I have been searching the back cover of the album to find Mr Anselmo! So The Sing of the Southern Cross as you already guessed is an outfit hailing from the South US and with this album, their first release entitled “Of Mountains And Moonshine”, they really want to melt our brains against the floor with this great Southern sound, close to bands like Down, EyeHateGod and of course Corrosion of Conformity.
The UK outfit Meads of Asphodel for many people is one of the most distinctive bands out there due too their original and very weird way of composing and performing. Someone would tell with such an ease that this band is a classic black progressive metal band, that can easily and with such a success mix black metal with many folklore sounds, and during this review I realized that they also used the classic Greek Syrtaki Dance !!!! (Book Of Dreams)
Sinister Realm hailing from Pennsylvania (USA) and this is their debut album. Although the album has been released on August of 2009, only now we managed to get a full copy of the album, and that’s why we reviewing this album some months after its release.
\r\nWithout trying to become cynical or something, I wonder: why listening to a group, which musical style is so similar to other bands, Gamma Ray and Blind Guardian to be more accurate? I mean, I rather listening to Gamma Ray and Blind Guardian- which, by the way, I really admire- themselves instead.
\r\nRETURN TO THE GRAVEYARD \r\n

\r\nSix Feet Under are back with their third -Graveyard Classics- album . These Deathsters sure love to cover classical songs from the Rock and Metal scene and they are now back with ten new great cover songs. \r\n
\r\nThe truth is that an instrumental album is a pretty risky choice; the compositions must be very powerful so to avoid getting bored in the middle of the cd.
\r\nThe debut EP of The Silent Wedding moving purely in the field of melodic metal with many influences from classical epic, doom and power sound with some progressive and atmospheric elements as well. Impressive is the way they tied all these elements, to the point that you can not classify Silent Wedding strictly to a specific category of metal music. All compositions are dynamic and will certainly be one that you want to be heard directly and / or sing. The vocals are full of emotion and a sweeping, highlighting the dynamics of all compositions.
