Having made their back catalog available to a wider public via High Roller Records, Mexican speed and thrash metal force Phantom will release their third full-length assault Not Midnight Yet via the label. Recorded and mixed once again with Héctor “Northen” Ibarra at Nehtron Studios in Guadalajara and mastered by Patrick W. Engel at Temple Of Disharmony in Germany, this new album captures the band at their most technical and dynamic.
Iconic Bay Area thrashers Testament have shared an official mini-documentary from the first show of the U.S. leg of their 2026 Thrash Of The Titans World Tour. The trek, which began on March 14 in Portland, Oregon and concluded on April 10 in Berkeley, California, featured Testament headlining all dates with support from Overkill and Destruction.
Metal legends Savatage made theit long-awaited comeback in 2025, and have announced European tour dates for the summer. Speaking with the Face The Music Podcast, guitarist Chris Caffery discussed the band’s return and future plans. Check out the interview below.

Joe Stump’s Tower Of Babel, the hard rock quintet who bring the finest European ingredients to their no-nonsense rock ‘n’ roll, have unveiled the video for their Ritchie Blackmore-inspired track “Alone In The Desert” in tribute to the legendary guitarist’s birthday.
The song is featured on the band’s latest album Days Of Thunder.

Megadeth’s new self-titled final studio album, released on January 23, exploded onto the charts at #1 on the Billboard 200 in their native US (highest previous position #2). This debut also marked the band’s 9th Billboard Top 200 album.
The second single from Venom’s forthcoming new album, Into Oblivion, is the bludgeoning “Kicked Outta Hell,” which is a ferocious thrasher of a track and while it has hints of classic Venom it also has a modern twist of brutality. Destined to be another crowd pleaser in the live arena, it’s without doubt one of the heaviest tracks Venom have ever penned.
