Guitarist Toby Knapp has issued the following update on the forthcoming Onward album, Of Epoch And Inferno, the first official studio album of new music since Reawaken, released in 2002
Knapp: "The album is currently being mastered at Audio Art Studio in Las Vegas, NV by world renowned engineer, Brett Hansen. I'm starting to get excited about it, it was a long process with some unexpected hurdles, but we made it through and the album is really strong.
German metal force Scanner has signed with ROAR! Rock of Angels Records.
Scanner evolved from the band Lions Breed (album Damn The Night, Earthshaker Label/Mausoleum Records) in 1986. Their line up at that time consisted of Michael Knoblich (vocals), Tom S. Sopha (guitar), Axel A.J. Julius (guitar), Martin Bork (bass) and Wolfgang Kolorz (drums).
Whitesnake continues to revisit its multi-platinum career as it remixes some of its biggest hits for a new collection that spotlights updated versions of classic tracks like “Still Of The Night,” “Here I Go Again,” and “Is This Love.”
Whitesnake founder and lead singer David Coverdale had 16 tracks remixed and remastered for this collection.
Jorn Lande returns with a new studio album, Over The Horizon Radar, on June 17. This latest studio album shows the Norwegian vocalist continuing his rock n' roll journey with his now expected stunning vocal performances, epic songs, and future rock anthems.

German power metal legends Blind Guardian will release their new album later this year via Nuclear Blast. The album is titled The God Machine and the band has revealed the cover art and tracklisting.
Blind Guardian states: “Well, what could that be? Are you ready? More information coming soon…”
Guitarist/producer, Dario Mollo, has shared another video, in which Space-T perform the title track of Deep Purple's 1993 album, The Battle Rages On.
This joins the previously posted video of Space-T performing Deep Purple's "Rat Bat Blue".
