It seems that Progressive Metal is on some kind of creative delirium lately, as there are so many new albums during the last months.
\r\n“Sympathetic Resonance”- a title which can be translated in many ways- is one more album coming from this Prog metal “explosion”. This album release apart from its objective and sentimental value, it ‘s priceless considering the musicians who created it.
\r\nGORATH’S RETURN\r\n
\r\n
\r\n-Gorath- are here with another full length. These Blacksters from Belgium that first started as a one man band and then later continued as a normal band, now they returned with another dark album full of Atmospheric/Progressive/Black Metal.\r\n
After a few years of absence from the music scene, as well as some line up and band name changes (The had changed their name into Metalforce in 2008 releasing a self titled album, after that they turned back to Majesty.) the German True Metalers Majesty release through Massacre Records a compilation album called “Own The Crown”. It’s about a double cd compilation featuring a selection of their best songs during a decade in the metal scene.
\r\n I know there’s a lot of people out there that were disappointed in the "turn" of the old Gorerotted into The Rotted and the subsequent redirection of their musical goals. These dear brits decided to further develop their music stigma into something different that the grinding death metal they used to play. I personally found their debut as The Rotted a very interesting release, though somewhat strangely I never heard a note from the EP that followed.
\r\nFIRST FULL LENGTH \r\n
\r\n
\r\nGerman Melodic Deathsters, -Eternal Torture- are releasing their first official full length via Thunderblast Records. The band plays a mix of Melodic/Atmospheric/Death Metal with some Deathcore elements since 2008. They have released so far only one Demo and now they are ready with their very first full length. \r\n
\r\n20 YEARS OF -PRO-PAIN-\r\n
\r\n
\r\nIt’s the 20th anniversary for the legendary New York Hardcore veterans -Pro-Pain- and so the band released a new album called -20 Years of Hardcore-.\r\n
\r\nAn exceptional case of a band, French outfit Minus Human initially impressed me but ultimetly left me with a question: will I try to listen to the whole album again? Now, since their music cannot be categorised so easily I will try to give you a brief description without tiring you. They have been called "the bastard child of ISIS and MACHINE HEAD" before. Surely there is a reason for that..

That’s a debut album for the old rockers The Slam (and by saying old, I don’t refer to their age!). After managing to sign with the Italian Record company Scarlet Records they release their full length “Hit It” offering a piece of good old classic hard rock sound and by the term classic we mean exactly that. Hard rock the way Aerosmith, Kiss and early Whitesnake used to play. All this vintage feeling given by a modern production gives the songs a powerful and solid sound.
