JAKE E. LEE - "MY CAREER IN FIVE SONGS"

Speaking with Guitar Player, Jake E. Lee - known for his work with Ozzy Osbourne, Badland and Red Dragon Cartel - ran down the five songs that he believes best represent his career. An excerpt is available below.

Lee: "I had written the music to that song back when I was in Rough Cutt. But at that time the riff was all in eighth notes because that was the L.A. thing. It was sort of along the lines of (Mötley Crüe's) “Looks That Kill,” and it worked pretty good that way. Then when I joined Ozzy’s band, he said, 'Okay, we need some songs.'

MAGNUM ISSUE STUDIO UPDATE; NEW ALBUM DUE IN JANUARY

Vocalist Bob Catley and guitarist Tony Clarkin of British rock icons, Magnum, are coming to the end of mixing their new studio album (title TBA), which will be released through SPV/Steamhammer in January 2022. Complete details are forthcoming.

The band will also be celebrating their 50th anniversary in 2022, so be sure to check them out on tour.

SABATON ANNOUNCES 'THE WAR TO END ALL WARS' ALBUM

Swedish metallers SABATON have announced their new album "The War To End All Wars".

The band stated about the upcoming disc: "For almost two decades we have been singing about historical battles and wars from all over the world.

"Two years have passed since the release of our latest album 'The Great War', a concept album telling stories from World War I.

FORMER H.E.A.T. VOCALIST ERIK GRÖNWALL COVERS SKID ROW CLASSIC "18 AND LIFE"

During Rob Halford’s 11 year break from Judas Priest in the '90s and early 2000s, the heavy metal legend formed the new band Halford, and Resurrection was their mighty debut.
