\r\nA new band from Italy and a new hope for the Italian scene and not only for it. 81DB is one of the bands who cannot be labeled, as it’s hard and unfair for this band, since they have many influances, while different hearings dominate. Before we speak for this demo, we should say that one member of the band (and one of the main members) is Greek and his name is Kostas. The rest members of the band are from Italy."Evaluation" is a Promo-EP, which can be a job which gives us an idea about 81DB.
\r\nVanmakt is a new band from Sweden, who make their first steps releasing their debute album under the title "Vredskapta Morkersagor". We could easily characterise the music of the band with only two words: monotonous and boring. What we listen here supposed to be an epic / atmospheric metal with some influences from the traditional scene of Norway.
\r\nThis is the debut album for the Swedish band ”Work of Art”, which is something between Toto and Journey, and literally there’s a “happy” melodies’ explosion during the whole album. The “mood” is light, almost boring, plus, add here, there are innumerous pop elements that make this album sounding even “lighter”.
\r\nWhen Death ss had a new release through the past years, it was a very special fact for their fans, but nowdays, unfortunatelly. seems to be a more common phenomenom. Through these last couple of months, we have two death ss releases, first of all this double DVD release, as well as the re release of “In Death Of Steve Sylvester” on Pic LP via horror records, wich having in mind the thirst of the death ss collectors, released also 12 (??) testpressing lp’s of this release and sells them through ebay, in such great amount of money.
\r\nMarkus Grosskopf doesn’t need introduction. According to the story, during some beer-drinking, Markus decided to create a Project in collaboration with other bass players that would be based on what else.... the bass.
\r\n2 Lucifers is a new band in the area of extreme sound which was formed in 2002. The album "In The Name Of..." is their debut album from Pulverised Records. The first thing that impressed me was the fact that there are 18 songs and the duration of the album is only 33 minutes. When we hear the album, however, we understand that this duration is absolutely comprehensible, as the style of the music refers to songs which are of little duration. 21 Lucifers combines in a very good way Death and Black Metal sound with Thrash elements, something like Carnal Forge.
\r\n3HM is an instrumental band, and “Three Headed Monster” is an album that includes various musical elements, such as power/thrash to death and even prog metal. In other words, it includes everything, even though the influences from Metallica, Megadeth and Iron Maiden are a bit more obvious. The guitar parts are a bit louder than the other instruments, to a degree that they almost “cover” the rest of the music.

\r\nSo… this is Hostal Handshake from Athens.Listening to their first album “Hellish” I found myself surpised in the most positive way. First of all Hostal Handshake sounds equal to foreign bands like Kyuss, Monster Magnet or Spiritual Beggars.
