\r\nWelcome to the kingdom of riffs. To the kingdom of EXODUS. To the kingdom of Bonded By Blood. Here where you are going to hear the best guitarist of all times, Rick "strike lightnings" Hunolt and Gary "throw thunders" Holt, playing some of the best and heaviest riffs that you have ever listened to.
\r\nI do believe that the contribution of Pentagram, in the Rock / Metal History from the early 70’s as Macabre till today can’t be doubted by none as well as the quality of their each one release cant be doubted too. Pentagram is the band that along with Black Sabbath established the Heavy Doom scene.\r\n
\r\nIn mid of 80’s there was a small, independent French company, called Black Dragon Records, which had in their roster a lot of groups, mainly from America, which belonged to the Epic- Power Metal genre. Some of them were MANILA ROAD, SAVAGE GRACE and LIEGE LORD. The last ones released their debut in 1985 entitled Freedom’ s Rise and had made enough fuzz. \r\n
\r\nThe Second Album of Texas’ Solitude Aeturnus meant to be the milestone of the Doom Metal genre along with Candlemass’ “Epicus, Doomicus, Metallicus”.
\r\nWithout a doubt during the Early, Mid 90’s there were around the best Norwegian black metal releases even from band like Dimmu Borgir (Yep. Once they played black metal)
\r\nNorwegian Black Metal (Norge Black Metal) can be categorized by two waves according to the each bands year of founding, So we can say that in the first wave belong bands like Darkthrone, Immortal, Ulver, Burzum, Mayhem, Satyricon and probably the best act of them Emperor.
\r\nEmperor released their first selftitled E.P. back in the 1993 with the following line up:
\r\nQUEENSRYCHE and SANCTUARY are the groups that disappointed me more from any other all these years that I hear this music. When the first began to lose their "metal" sign, their neighbors seemed to be there, ready to take the opportunity and continue from where that their famous neighbors stopped. Finally, nothing happened and despite the fact that SANCTUARY had everything, they were split-up, because of musical differences. The only explanation that I can give, is that something weird happens in Seattle… \r\n
\r\nPARADISE LOST needs no introduction. Of course, for "Draconian Times" there are no words to say, as it is a "Classic" and "Must Have Album", in the gothic metal category. Released in the spring of 1997 and was the fifth studio album of the band. \r\n
Since the\r\nMonuments section of our website is meant to host admirable releases coming\r\nfrom all genres of the extreme sound it would be unjust on our side not to\r\nwrite a few words for the album "Athenian Echoes" of the Greek Nightfall.\r\nYou might wonder why we didn’t choose the album "Lesbian Show", since it has been the reason for\r\nmany fans to notice Nightfall. Of course it was a great success for Nightfall and it has been one of the brightest\r\nmoments in the Greek Metal Scene.
