After ten years the German based power / prog outfit, Mind Odyssey returned with a new effort. Some time on the early days of April the new album “Time To Change it”, will be out on the stores. An album that sounds so different than their previous works, more melodic and less power, with some electronics also. The only thing for sure is that the progressive elements are once again back. Of course the comparison with previous works for instance” Schizophrenia” would be at least pointless.
No you are not in a time machine at all; this is a review for the classic thrash opus “The American Way” by the American thrash outfit, Sacred Reich. Well, Displeased and Sacred Reich decided to re – release one of the most important thrash metal albums (in my opinion of course).

\r\n"After Nine Destinies And A Downfall", Sirenia are back after two years with the \r\n"13th Floor". But with the new album the band brought along new members, the \r\nsinger Pilar "Ailyn" Gimenez Garcia and guitarist Michael S. Krumins. \r\n

\r\nThe band, for those who are not aware of it, comes from Italy. They showed up for the first time at the late 80’s -early 90’s, by recording their first demo (S/T) which received great reviews. The second demo followed up (Bloody Dream), while it didn’t take long for a record deal to come for their first full length album under the title ”From the Floor of the Well”. “Under A Spell” was to become their second and last work as for about eight years they fell into the darkness.

\r\nHELL ON EARTH \r\n
Oh my dear Lord…Well here we deal with a band which many of you must be familiar with. The Danish based outfit, Iron Fire releasing their new album, that despite the fact that their label tries to persuades us that this is power metal, I get the impression that something goes wrong with my ears. I found this one like a hammerfall-ish way of power metal mixed with some AOR – ish choruses.
Stromrider is a German based outfit and after their first full length release “Shipwrecked” (2004) via the Italian Label Underground Symphony, returned in 2008 with their second release, on a different label. The Album is entitled “Fate of the Hunter” and has been released though Pure Steel Records.
The German outfit Custard is already a band with more of ten years in action and every release of them, meets the right feedback from their loyal friends. So they do move on with their difficult task. Yes difficult, because it’s so difficult these days to write and perform traditional power heavy metal, since if you try to do this, you ll be immediately criticized as a band that stick to the past, the past that many people consider as long dead…
\r\nWith ex members from Tr3ple P and Sika and after forming the band in Copenhagen 2-3 years ago, The Interbeing presents us an EP of three songs which are heavy, gloomy, and based on electronic elements. The truth is that the material is very small and I would like to avoid getting the wrong idea, however even based on that it’s a good peace of work. Melodic, atmospheric, while the vocals, the heavy riffs and the dark electronic veil which covers everything are the most important spots to refer.
