\r\nHeavy metal history, especially in the 80s, is full of examples of bands like Cities. That is, bands which released an amazing debut album but afterwards lacked the luck, the technical abilities or the skills to build a career based on their first success.

\r\nDuring the 80s a lot of bands popped out from the American heavy metal scene, many of which unfortunately couldn’t realize the career they deserved, mostly because of the circumstances that took place in the music industry back then. One of them is Exxplorer.

\r\nHaving completed more than 30 years in discography, Scorpions are considered with no doubt one of the biggest rock bands of all time and surely to biggest Germany ever offered.

\r\nBack in 1991, the year of the Grunge explosion with bands like Nirvana, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, that had released their best selling albums ever, and the metal scene to work underground mostly with more extreme forms of metal and some bands that became later well known such as Asphyx, Master’s Hammer etc. Oh… there have been some people also that considered as heavy metal, bands like Guns N Roses…

In 1986the Canadian Thrashers Exciter release their 4rth full length album entitled “Unveiling The Wicked”.

\r\nAfter four successful releases: “Heavy Metal Maniac” in 1983, “Violence & Force” 1984, “Feel The Knife” EP 1985, and “Long Live The Loud” in 1985, “Unveiling The Wicked” was one more excellent album. Years after its release I’d say it’s one of the 3 best Exciter albums ever.

\r\nThe New Wave Of British Heavy Metal (simply referred as NWOBHM), which started forming in the late 70’s and exploded during the 1980-82 era, had many heroes. Some of them big (Iron Maiden, Saxon), some of them small (does anyone remember White Spirit or Gaskin?) and some others that stood somewhere in between, releasing some good material through the 80’s but never managing to endure both artistically and commercially.

\r\nCrystal Logic, 26 years after its original release, remains probably Manilla Road’s most recognizable album. Not necessarily because it’s their best (maybe it is after all!) but mainly because it is the album where Manilla Road formed their own unique sound, through which they delivered monumental albums and with which they continue their march up to today.

\r\nWhen the word comes to American power metal, it’s hard to ignore one of its monuments, the first and same titled album from Titan Force, which can easily stand among the genre’s top 5 recordings.\r\n

Μερικά πράγματα είναι πολύ δύσκολο να τα περιγράψεις, ένα από αυτά λοιπόν είναι και το πρώτο LP των Αμερικάνων Saint Vitus
