\r\nITALIAN HARDCORE\r\n \r\n
\r\nItalian Hardcore band - Strange Corner - released their new album , called - Human Society- , and the news are good. Despite the fact that they changed their vocalist the band continues shredding and you can hear it in their new work. Hardcore/Punk with political social lyrics and anti-fascists messages.\r\n
This is the debut album from Persona Non Grata. A progressive metal album following the Greek Prog tradition of Wastefall and Fragile Vastness. Even if its against progressive’s definition, you’ll find all the classic progressive elements here. Melodies, piano, keyboards all blending with some very nice song writing. The production is good to.
\r\nDream Theater , Pain of Salvation and Poverty’s No Crime and mainly the sounds that you’ll hear on this cd. All in all it’s a pretty descent work. We do have some problems here though.
\r\nSo let me welcome you to the dark and spooky world of black metal.. Although here we don’t have to deal with any extreme situations.

\r\nYou can hear nice tunes. This album is not only for mosh-pit..Of course the black metal vocals rule this album but there are some points with clean vocals also. Don’t forget that Mystical Fulmmon are already cosidered as a respectful italian black metal band.

To be honest with you when I got the album, I saw the artwork on the cover and my first thought was ’’Ok I’ll deal with it in the end’’. But eventually..last but not least!!!!! During the first riffs I started headbangin’ and I was like ’’OH THESE GUYS ARE GREAT!’’ And thank God the felling lasted up to the last song of the album.

\r\nPARTY TIME!!!! At last rock n’roll comes back to life! We can clearly see influences of Motorhead, Hellacopters, Misfits, Turbonegro, Monster Magnet, Ramones and Sex Pistols and that leads to 30 minutes of non-stop smiling..
\r\n
\r\n’’Check Mate’’ would be the album that you would like to start your day with, or the one you listen to cd player during a trip..So if there’s still anybody left believing that rock n’roll’s dead the best thing he-she could do is to buy this album!

\r\nThe Dutch Mortal Form even though they exist as a band from 1994 (they started as a cover band playing songs of Sepultura and Black Sabbath) they released their debut album titled “X-Plore” in 2001. in “Taste The Blood” manage to combine perfectly the death metal sound with Thrash’s raging fury along with the melody of classic heavy metal. Some may think “not something new” and perhaps they are right.
I remember there was a time when you knew that you listen to any album and you listen to thrash or heavy or progressive or death metal.. Not anymore. Aleph seem to combine progressive, dark and thrash sounds while their influences move from Primordial and Symphony X to Opeth..

\r\nFrance Speaking!!!!!!!! A nice artwork and really special booklet.. Amasoeurs decided that their style is named Coldwave Metal. I would say that they’re just a combination of Cure, Depeche Mode, Joy Division, Anathema and Katatonia..

When you mix death, hardcore and power metal is that what we call progressive death? Ok I would lie if I’d say that there are no good ideas in this album but it’s not something special.. Brutal vocals that would remind you something you’ve heard before and solos that in every track they seem to try to imitate something else..

It’s hard nowadays to find a black/death band in which you won’t hear all those tunes you’ve heard before..When I started listening this album,as long the introduction was playing, I was looking at the cover nad I was thinking that the guys must have worked really hard on their music. Or else they would have given all their money on the artwork.
