\r\n“La Rosa Del ‘ Deserto” is the second release from this Italian guitar wizard, Giuseppe Silvestri and has been released via the greek label Secret Port Records. Thing are simple in this case. I ve been listening to many instrumental guitar virtuoso albums over the years, and only a few of them, really deserved to be instrumental, and this one deserves to be one for sure.
\r\nEast Trading Wang is an Estonian band existing since 1997 and "Favela, Yayo, Caipirinha" is their second album, although released back in 2005.
\r\n Dperd is an Italian duo of Carlo Disimone (keyboards, bass, drums and guitars) and vocalist Valeria Buono. From the very first notes of the album you are deeply drawn into a dreamy, hypnotic atmosphere with a profound romantic dimension. And that goes for all the entirety of the effort. The songs are pretty much the same under a calm tempo, repetition and a soothing aura built up by the many keyboard layers, the gentle melodies and some mysterious and chilling arpeggios.
\r\nTo be honest, I thought they didn’t exist. But they are active and after 17 years they release a new record! Left for Dead is the title of Laaz Rockit’s new album, but Laaz Rockit don’t surprise me and they have never really been my cup of cake. Typical thrash metal, I would say boring in moments, but nothing has got to do with the comments on Massacre’s advertisements about the best Laaz Rockit album till now, that’s for sure, though in general the record is good. The production is cool and the whole album has a party atmosphere.
\r\nWhat I have got to say is that Relapse releases wonderful records! And Agenda Of Swine is one of the best examples. Having concrete sound and mostly hardcore values, these dudes rip out our ears with the extremely shredding Waves Of Human Suffering. The combination of hardcore, death metal, grind and a little punk is something more than a usual hybrid, the way it comes out in this album.
\r\nKingdragon started in 2006 as an idea of their vocalist, George Aspiotis, whose cooperation with some legendary Greek bands, such as Spitfire, Nightfall, and Raw Silk, makes him a respectful and experienced artist of the local scene. Their lineup includes Byron Tsourapis (Bass since 2006), Anastasis Fragopoulos (guitars since 2006) and John Karachalios (drums since 2007 and also an ex-Spitfire member). Through these years, their c.v. includes live performances with some great acts, as a support group, with Gotthart and Firehouse.
\r\nJosh Ramos is a guitarist who has appeared in famous hard rock bands, like Two Fires and Hardline, while Hugo is a well known solo artist, also known by his work with Valentine. Hugo and Ramos teamed up with famed producer Fabrizio Grossi (who’s playing the bass here), keyboardist Eric Ragno (ex Takara, China Blue) and the great John Macaluso (Riot, Malmsteen, Starbreaker, Ark etc) on drums and the result is "The Dream". The first thing that comes in mind after listening to every song is, JOURNEY and the second, JOURNEY again.
