Holy Martyr is an Italian band formed back in the mid nineties and took its final form in 2002. Their third attempt which was an EP , gained the interest of DragonHeart Records, which offered the band a contract, to release its first full length album, "Still At War". "Hellenic Warrior Spirit" is their second cd, which as the title indicates, is based upon Greek history and to be more specific, upon "The Battle at Termopyles". Their music’s influence is mainly based on N.W.O.B.H.M.

\r\nAnd thats because if you listen to the debut EP of EVITA ,you can see that these 17 years old youngsters dont have nothing to fear against band that are many years to the metal scene. EVITA , formed in September 2006 , are presenting their work for the very first time.

\r\nThe name Michael Vescera is well known to many of you. Those of you who are not familiar with it I am sure that you have heard his voice on releases of Malmsteen, Obsession , Loudness as well as on some guest appearances of other artists Projects. This is his first personal album and is a fine example of how melodic metal should be played!
\r\nFirst album for the French band IBOGAINE which combines Thrash, old school thrash metal to be more accurate and hardcore with some progressive passages. Aggressive vocals, fast riffing, rhythms that change and change; those are the main points that I liked the most during listening to the album, even though “React” belongs to those ones that take a lot of hearings in order to get the picture.
Honeymoon Suite is a band not so well known, but with many years of experience, since it was founded back in 1982!!! Highlights of their carrier, could be considered, their supporting acts for Billy Idol, Jethro Tull and Bryan Adams, among others, during 1984, and for Heart, ZZ Top, Journey and Starship during 1986. Other achievements would be, their music’s appearance in some soundtracks and famous tv series, such as Miami Vice and Lethal Weapon. In 2007 founding members Johnnie Dee and Derry Grehan, reformed the band, with the original line up.

\r\nStrong nerves required. ARTAS obviously is not recommended to the ones that identify the beauty of this music with the melodies. Ηere you can find anything else but melodies and lyricism, unless if through an advanced approach, we can distinguish those points where the tones are more soft and consider them as ”melodic brillancies” in the songs.
\r\nThere are times that you wonder what went wrong, what went bad and everything comes out uneasy. That’s exactly how I felt when I listened to the new album of the gods The Haunted and a huge WHY came out of my mouth. I longed for this record and I was sure that I was going to listen to something many levels better than the previous (and disappointing as far as I am concerned) The Dead Eye, from a very favorite band of mine and also one that I was lucky enough to meet at its birth.
