Vasilis Mazaris and Elena Mihailidou of Metalzone.gr recently put Themis from Greek Old School thrashers on Metalzone’s DEATHROW! You see sometimes an interview isn’t enough in order to make someone confess his sins. Sometimes you have to take him to the DEATHROW…

It seems like a lifetime since the first moment that I listened to his guitar playing and was impressed. Jeff Loomis is currently working on his personal album, soon to be released. Metalzone conducted an interview with him, and he talked about his music, himself, and, of course, about Nevermore. Ladies and gentlemen, here is what he told us: \r\n
\r\nMetalzone: You just returned from Los Angeles, where you played at this year’s NAMM show (National Association of Music Merchants) both Nevermore solos and instrumental stuff from your upcoming personal album.
First time I got acquainted with Shade Empire was back in 2004 with the release of their first full length album Sinthetic. Although I’m not the most diehard fan of symphonic black metal in the world, that album managed to capture my full approval almost immediately. The keyboards play a sovereign role in their music yet they are nothing but mellow or cheesy. Their sound is so energetic and melodic at the same time as a black metal band can be.
