Times Of No Trust is the name of the new album of the German band Clusterhead. The band is presenting a style of music in between Pink Cream 69, Bonfire and Axel Rudi Pell. The album contains 11 tracks which are more or less typical Heavy Metal / Hard Rock nothing to be excited about. Truth is I can sense their struggle to make likeable enjoyable music but they seem to lose it in the process. Maybe it’s because of the weak production. Maybe it’s because of the lack of catchy songs.
\r\nAfter reading that this band plays experimental metal, the truth is that I was very interested in listening to them. Unfortunately I changed my mind pretty fast, as I got bored almost from the beginning of the album. Crossover stuff, with experimental elements meaning the “playing” in the rhythm section, and metal grind/core passages in the guitars, combined with rap and jazz elements and aggressive vocals, basically.

\r\nNo matter how I tried to find some elements based on which I would consider this album as worth mentioning, I didn’t find a thing. It has nothing to do with the musical genre, as a music theme can be interesting, as long as it is good, regardless of its genre. This is merely boring. Music wise they play a Rap/Rock kinda thing, which means that it’s basically Street Rap with a few irrelevant Rock and Grind passages and heavy riffs that just “dress” the whole thing, rather than really fitting in.
