\r\nAll I can say about this band is this; it can not convince me, no matter how much the fans from the other side of the globe seem to disagree with that. The album consists of 10 tracks which might be useful for a soundtrack or something, as the whole style fits the bill, but nothing more than that. The fact that the guitar parts may sound a bit “heavy” does not necessarily imply that a band plays heavy metal indeed.
\r\nWhen the CD’s from Stygian Crypt came to my hands, I had to make a first choice and I left the specific album for last, because from the album artwork it seemed to be children’s and concluded in hurry that also the music won’t be something appreciable. So much mistaken I was.
This is about a split 7’’ release that features only two songs. Of course many of you, you will wonder why I decided to review this one, the reasons for me are many, but the main reason is that this is the new release from the lengedary Pagan Altar from the mighty Great Britain. Well, is not such a recent release but first things first….
\r\nA new cd release from the polish Spearhead who are a typical Death Metal band influenced by their local musical scene and by american bands like Morbid Angel, Deicide, Malevolent Creation etc etc. The sound of the group has its good moments but on the whole is a bit boring.
